Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the BunkerIstanbul platform ("Platform", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1.Nature of the Platform

BunkerIstanbul is a digital maritime marketplace and operational intelligence platform connecting Shipowners, Suppliers, and Brokers. BunkerIstanbul does not act as buyer, seller, broker, trader, or agent in any transaction.

2.Eligibility & Accounts

Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3.User Roles

Users may register as Shipowners, Suppliers, or Brokers. Misrepresentation of role is strictly prohibited.

4.Transactions & Liability

All commercial agreements, fuel quality, quantity, delivery, pricing, and payment obligations exist solely between users. BunkerIstanbul assumes no commercial liability.

5.AI Tools Disclaimer

AI-generated insights (pricing, routing, savings, emissions) are informational only and do not constitute professional advice. AIS, pricing, and predictive data may be delayed or inaccurate.

6.Compliance

Users are solely responsible for compliance with IMO, MARPOL, sanctions, tax, and local regulations.

7.Intellectual Property

All software, branding, AI systems, and content are the exclusive property of BunkerIstanbul.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BunkerIstanbul shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or commercial losses.

9.Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or legal requirements.

10.Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any dispute shall be resolved by arbitration under ISTAC or LMAA, at the election of the parties.
